Someone's built a 12.5 metre 3D model of London - and you can play with it

A 3D interactive map of London 12.5 metres in length and 32 metres in perimeter has been unveiled – and you will soon be able to see it close up for yourself.

The 1:2000 scale New London Model, which covers more than 85 square kilometres of the capital, includes 19 boroughs and about 170,000 buildings, plus 34km of the River Thames and 21 bridges.

It took four months to build and Ordnance Survey data was used to make sure it was accurate to the nearest millimetre. []
