Le Carré en Seine, designed by PietriArchitectes, is a residential project on the Seine riverbank, facing Ile Saint-Germain, featuring zinc “boxes” extending from facades for optimal views and sunlight. The project uses concrete double walls for insulation and aesthetic appeal, with the three buildings and an adjacent residential hotel creating a cohesive unit with a patio opening onto the river.

Le Carré en Seine is situated on the banks of the river Seine, directly facing Ile Saint-Germain. The project is designed to meet the stringent requirements of sustainable development specifications.

The housing units are characterized by their simple volumetric design and the innovative handling of external spaces, which extend beyond the facades to form zinc “boxes” strategically positioned to take full advantage of the views and sunlight.

A notable feature of this high-density project is the use of a concrete double wall that provides both an attractive finish and effective insulation. This approach is a first for this type of development. To ensure urban coherence, the adjacent residential hotel is constructed from the same materials, creating a harmonious aesthetic. The three buildings of Le Carré en Seine create a sense of transparency, featuring a patio that opens onto the river Seine, enhancing the connection between the buildings and their picturesque surroundings.
