A few products will come with an adjustable wrist strap that can be used to hold the laser measuring tool in place. You can hang it from the wrist as you work with other tools, and the grip can be modified accordingly. It will also prevent you from losing the tool or having it slip out of your hands. However, a wrist strap will not be provided with every tool.
