Russian architecture company Skydome created dome homes designed to withstand heavy snow loads. The spherical design allows these homes to withstand up to 700kg of snow per square meter! The homes are reportedly under development in Moscow, where heavy snowfall is relatively common.

They also have eco-friendly qualities and stunning interiors. These futuristic homes seem like an excellent design for blizzard-prone areas.
