The Nemo Building is located within a picturesque landscape of the Masuria lakes, on a plot with direct access to the lake via a private beach. The building was designed to complete the landform on the spot, as well as to take full advantage of the impressive lake panorama. The house is a rectangle of 50m in total length, which nearly covers the length of the plot available.

The internal layout of the house is generally focused around the view of the lake, which is why all rooms face the water. This was one of the main assumptions for the design. In contrast, from the side of the access road, the house appears as veiled and enigmatic.

Apart from the glazed entrance and the window illuminating the kitchen, the front wall is nearly devoid of windows and features the entrance gates for the car and boat only. In turn, the lake-side wall was designed as fully glazed.

Nemo House is a one-story building with an inverted roof covered partially with gravel and partially with grass (initial plans assumed the presence of water). The building is crowned with a box lined with black slate panels. The black box houses a gable roof, the parameters of which were specified in the local land development plan.

The structure of the house matches the land form inclination. Street-side entrance to the building is preceded by steps, and the access road to the platform is paved with granite blocks. The façade comprises ventilated panels coated with thin-layer plaster.

From the side of the lake, the building is slightly elevated, raising above the ground. The entire front façade overlooks a terrace – a loggia, which provides an additional communication route for particular parts of the house.

In the outer zone, the building offers two semi-open atriums, one of which is narrower from the night side. In turn, the second one serves as an extension of the daily part of the living room and the main relax point overlooking the lake. This space is where the main staircase departs, leading ultimately to a small pier on the beach, where the boat will be docked in the future.

The building is horizontal, minimalist. The crude, simple line reflects the calm view of the lacustrine landscape.
